Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer helps promoting the company’s brand. S/He will be sharing and communicating the organization’s products’ features to the customers to boost the sales.
Position Location: Jordan
Business Industry: Elevators / Construction.
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Organize and visit clients, consultants, architects, developers, contractors to prospect new leads.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made under the sales manager supervision.
• Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.
• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts for new clients.
• Gather market and customer information.
• Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
• Maintain and timely update the needed entries on the company’s system .
• Proper analysis for the project stage, forecasted awards, and probability to win.
• Report and maintain records as per company requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments to prepare all necessary information for submitting with the quotation / tender (including arranging bonds, special approvals, etc.).
• Adhere to all safety and compliance rules of the company.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Elevator Industry in Sales and Installation.
