Freelancer Pharmacist
Altibbi is the first and largest platform in the Arab region that offers telemedicine consultation services, allowing patients to connect directly with doctors via audio calls and chats.
Scope:
The pharmacist step is the second communication step in the CDM program. The main role of the freelancer pharmacist is to obtain detailed information regarding the patients’ history, medications and chronic diseases to complete the patient’s medical file prior to the doctor consultations. The pharmacist should be able to use her medical knowledge to identify any drug regimen issues, potential side effects and drug-drug interactions. S/he will be responsible of gathering and adding the collected data to the system in an organized manner, to be effectively used as the base of the doctor consultation.
Tasks and responsibilities:
– Contact the users to prepare their medical files.
– Obtain the users’ medication list, medical history and check for any drug-drug interactions.
– Report any incident detected throughout the process to the pharmacist team leader.
– Participate in explaining the service to the users through the agreed script during the call or through other methods of contact.
– Follow up with the users’ status to ensure their readiness for the doctor consultation.
– Monitor the user’s periodic follow-up plan and detect and update any changes in their medical files or medications lists.
– Report any patients’ complaints to the pharmacist team leader.
Freelancer pharmacist requirements:
– A bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or clinical pharmacy.
– +2 years of experience in community pharmacies or hospitals.
– Extensive experience in using MS Excel.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Exceptional problem solving skills
