A leading Engineering and Environmental Consulting firm is seeking for Quantity Surveyor as the following qualification and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer with 6+ years of experience in delivering and producing pre and post contract documents for public and private sectors of all building works.

Pre-Contract Responsibilities:

1- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
2- Preparing Material Take-off using POMI.
3- Create bill of quantities with preliminaries and preambles using CSI formatting.
4- Tracking design and on-site project changes and adjusting BOQ based on received variation orders.
5- Participating in budget estimation and cost planning exercises.

Post-Contract Responsibilities:

1- Certifying monthly payments by arranging for site tours to measure construction works, recording progress and valuing contact based on agreed contract rates.
2- Estimating the cost impact of RFIs and RFPs.
3- Tracking and assessing variations to the contract and its cost effects.
4- Liaising with and advising clients during weekly progress meetings and monthly executive meetings on contractual and commercial issues, ensuring contract compliance.
