JOB TITLE:

FACTORY OPERATION MANAGER

We are seeking a hands-on individual to join our production and manufacturing team in Amman, Jordan. They will need to develop, implement, oversee and align the factory’s operations.

COMPANY INDUSTRY:

Food manufacturing. Import and Export. Located in Amman, Jordan

JOB FUNCTION:

This position reports to the Directors in Lebanon and oversees all employees of an FMCG factory based in Jordan. The candidate is responsible for contributing to the company’s strategic and operational objectives in the production of goods that meets customer expectations. They will also be responsible for business forecasting and financial cost control and revenue-boosting. This role involves a lot of liaising with other team members, including interacting with management.

JOB DUTIES:

– Fill out import-export documentation

– Compile carrier and route assignments

– Compute international fees for each shipment

– Informing clients on shipment progress

– Manage daily operations in factory.

– Ensure efficiency in distribution.

– Effective management of inventory.

– Managing quality and standards are maintained.

– Reporting daily to management.

– Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies.

– Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements

– Develop, implement, enforce & evaluate policies and procedures

– Develop processes for receiving product

– Inventory management & shipping

– Ensure optimal production efficiencies and effectiveness by overseeing the Production Team and processes in line with agreed standard operating procedures, food, health and safety requirements, as well as cost and quality requirements.

– Ensure cost effective production through planning, organising, and managing the function to support optimal production in line with the designed capacity of the plant, agreed budget, resource plans and targets.

المهارات

Experience: 3-4 years experience (Production and Project Management / Operations Management / Quality control) in the Manufacturing sector: ideally FMCG / F&B
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English
People management skills, computer competences, effective communication, good numeracy skills and teamwork are a must.
