Precision operates globally with two separate manufacturing facilities, one in the UK and the other in China. As well as the manufacturing facilities, we also have sales offices in the UAE, Hong Kong & Australia to better serve our customers in these regions.
The Role
Although located within our sales office in the Gold & Diamond Park in Dubai, this role is to manage the day to day running of the UK manufacturing company’s accounting processes. The successful candidate must have excellent accounting experience, and intimate knowledge of SAP Business One, or similar ERP system. This role will report directly to Precision's owner/Managing Director.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales, purchase and production admin team’s use of SAP Business One to make sure transactions are being made correctly
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions
- Create KPI reports as required
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Perform all bank payments
- Manage credit control
- Check and agree bank balances on a daily basis
- Process business credit card expenses
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- Posting month end & year end journals including payroll journals, depreciation, recurring expenses & exchange rate differences
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns as well as all other HMRC interaction
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Liaise with external auditors who prepare year end statutory accounts & tax returns
- Occasional travel to UK may be required
- Other ad hoc duties
Based on the candidates experience and aptitude, there is great scope to grow with the company and take on further roles/responsibilities within the company.

- Management accounting experience
- In depth knowledge of SAP Business One or similar ERP system
- Experience with Crystal Reports and/or Sharperlight reporting software would be a bonus
- Great interpersonal and communications skills
- Self-discipline and motivation

- Adaptable
- Good aptitude for IT
