Manage activities across information security and assurance in order to identify and comply with regional and international information security mandates and standards.

Description
Support practices within the Information Security Services and Assurance function, overseeing budget creation and management, best practice, and optimal performance in line with business strategic requirements.Leverage knowledge of data security to lead programs in compliance and assurance with respect to security standards such as ISO 27001, NESA, SWIFT, or other related frameworks.Identify gaps in the internal information security framework and actively resolve or update policies and procedures as required, reporting any unresolved compliance issues to relevant stakeholders.Take ownership of training or awareness programs across the business related to cybersecurity regulations, executing annual training programs to ensure that best practices are adopted across the business.Oversee the development of Business Information Security Officers network as well as information security content in the Learning Management System.
Profile
15+ years' experience in compliance and assurance of information security in large financial institutions.Proven team management skills of information security champions.Possesses one or more certifications including Security+, CCIE, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, PMP, ITIL, COBIT, CIA, CRMA, or CIP.Strong knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, UAE NESA, PCI DSS, SWIFT, COBIT, ITIL, UAE CPR, NIST, and GDPR.
