About the job
Organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media, and the public.
As a PR Officer, we expect you to have a creative mind and excellent communication skills. And your goal will be to cultivate a positive company image.
Responsibilities
- Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies.
- monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, and blogs.
- Research and write press releases for targeted media in both English and Arabic language.
- collate and analyze media coverage.
- write and edit in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles, and annual reports.
- prepare and supervise the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films, and multimedia programs.
- devise photo opportunities and coordinate studio or location photography
- organize events (such as press conferences, exhibitions, open days, and press tours).
- undertake research for potential campaigns based on need.
- foster good community relations through events such as open days and involvement in community initiatives.
- manage the PR aspect of a potential crisis.
- Coordinate CSR campaigns and liaise between the Company and our charitable partners.
- Consolidate and report on social responsibility activities across the organization.
Qualifications
- BA degree in Communications, PR, or Journalism required or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of previous CSR experience within a corporate environment is a plus
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to multi-task, work with all professionals at different levels of the organization,
- Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bilingual: English/Arabic fluency; oral and written
