We are looking for a Payroll Accountant. They ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all payments relating to the entitlements and payroll functions within the Group.

The candidate will need to ensure that employee compensation, benefits, and deductions are accurate and are in line with the Group's HR policy as well as Labor Law. Also, they will be responsible for managing the process of reconciliation of all payroll accounts, maintaining the employee database, and filing.

Responsibilities:



  • Handles the correct and timely processing of staff benefits that include salaries and monthly allowances, annual tickets, and car allowance as per the company’s rules and regulations and specific to the employee’s contract.
  • Reviews the timesheet of employees including overtime requests, leave management, employee schedules, etc.
  • Processes, monitors, and updates business travel and training payments (daily allowance, tickets and leave) in coordination with the concerned department and services.
  • Balances the payroll accounts through reconciliation of payroll ledger accounts and resolves all payroll discrepancies for any outstanding items.
  • Compile monthly payroll by taking into consideration leaves, late reporting, absenteeism, overtime, etc., and ensure verification for timely disbursement of salaries.
  • Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations and resolve issues relating to payroll.
  • Lead all monthly payroll by processing earnings or deductions including but not limited to Leave Settlement, Medical Reimbursement vouchers, and Correspondence on Employee Advances.
  • Coordinate with the HR team to gather, and update leave records of employees and prepare monthly payroll for all employee-related payments which include leave salary, advances, and final settlement.
  • Collating payroll reports and documents for accuracy; resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information, providing appropriate action plans, and implementing a permanent solution.
  • Timely disbursement of staff queries related to salaries, reimbursements, over-time, incentives, clearance of medical bills, and closure of final settlements.
  • Maintains and updates employee records whenever there is a change in the employment status such as promotion, transfer, salary review, annual increment, change of job title, contract type and employee data, change of marital status, bank and dependent details.
  • Sorting files, input paperwork into our electronic database and maintain employee records while updating the system with new information as needed.

المهارات

  • BS/BA in Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills & great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of filing systems and managing data.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and familiarity with relevant ERP computer software.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English & Arabic.
  • Analytical approach while working independently.
  • Highly organized and results-orientated.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
