Responsible for the profitability and development by leading and Managing the Commercial Department so as to achieve commercial top & below line targets, in line with the company’s mission and vision, by managing day-to-day activities, planning, developing, and implementation of the commercial strategies, and ensuring projects and deliverables are on time as committed.Responsible for the profitability and development by leading and Managing the Commercial Department so as to achieve commercial top & below line targets, in line with the company’s mission and vision, by managing day-to-day activities, planning, developing, and implementation of the commercial strategies, and ensuring projects and deliverables are on time as committed.
Key responsibility,
Develop and implement the strategy of range and selection items.
Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
Explore new opportunities, which can grow our sales & GP.
Manage planogram team to maximize sales, GP and space utilization.
Manage New store openings to maximize take-off and long-term success foundation.
Work Hand in Hand with the Marketing department ensuring a detailed Marketing & Advertising calendar plan, implementation and analysis.
Develop and implement a promotion strategy according to customer profile demand and category demand.
Interpreting market trends and adapting to industry changes.
Develop and implement the strategy of pricing to ensure that prices are competitive and profits are maximized.
Implement import strategy to improve the assortment and get the benefit of customer GP and Sales.
Analyzing the performance of each department, then make action plan to improve sales.
Identify the new trends in the department.
Supplier cooperation in creating Hero and Destination departments.
Monthly review the aging stock by store and by department.
Monthly review the aging stock by store and by department
Action plan to liquidate the over stock & slow-moving items.
Responsible about all business processes related to supermarket department (Order process, BDA process, and promotion process etc.)
Identify work flow and road map of processes
Analyse current sourcing strategies, and systems and propose improvement plans.
Responsible to benchmark current process and systems with industry best practices.
Analyse and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.

المهارات
Degree in Business Administration or a related field. MBA or MSc is a plus.
Proven experience as a Head of Merchandise Commercial manager in the retail supermarket field.
Proven history of developing effective inventory management policies.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management
