Role Overview

With direction from the Talent & OD Manager (Middle East), the Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist (Middle East) is responsible for the delivery of key organisation development activities in the ME region, including, but not limited to: team alignment, change management, culture assessments, and proposal support.

Detailed responsibilities include (but are not limited to):



  • Deliver Talent Management (TM) / L&D Programs across the Middle East in areas including, but not limited to:
  • Leadership development
  • D&I
  • New hire orientation
  • Performance Management
  • Deliver Bechtel’s Early Career Hire (ECH) program for colleagues in the Middle East region
  • Create an engaging learning climate and employ a variety of facilitation tools and techniques, including a discovery learning approach, to increase participation and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of learning objectives.
  • Liaise regularly and provide support to TM colleagues and assigned Business Partner/s to implement the overall TM strategy in the region.
  • Collaborate with project deployed HR colleagues on the delivery of learning and development programs and processes
  • Work to continuously improve the relevance, effectiveness, and delivery of L&D / talent related programs through evaluation, data analysis, and identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Complete ad hoc TM tasks as required

المهارات

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Change Management, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 – 10 years of related experience with demonstrated increase in responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery of training programs/learning solutions using facilitation and communication skills/techniques to diverse audiences
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to accomplish a shared goal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a large multinational across diverse geographies and cultures
  • Working knowledge of a matrix organizational structure
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
