Quality Improvement Specialist

As a Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering quality medical care to Altibbi users. Your responsibilities will include managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of Altibbi's overall quality improvement (QI) programs. You will also be responsible for investigating incident reports, patient complaints, patient care issues, and other issues related to patient safety and health quality.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Quality Improvement and Risk Management

  • Assists with developing and implementing Altibbi’s quality improvement plan.
  • Develops, assists with, and monitors systems, and procedures for the identification, collection, and analysis of the performance of quality measurement data.
  • Educates and trains staff and providers as to the quality improvement plan, and their respective responsibilities in carrying out the quality improvement program.
  • Analyses patient, providers and stakeholder data and identifies plans for quality improvement as well as review patient experience and incident reports, patient complaints and report on trends.
  • Partner with applicable stakeholders to identify the operational and clinical impact of defined solutions, mitigate applicable risks and establish change management processes to drive effective launch and deployment of strategic initiatives
  • Coordinates and integrates the introduction of quality improvement processes throughout the organization in accordance with the quality plan.
  • Assists with provider’s peer review activities for quality improvement purposes.
  • Assists with identifying and developing future goals and activities for the QI program and participates in decisions on priorities and activities.

Data Management

  • Ensure maintenance of clinical program data collection, management and reporting infrastructure.
  • Ensure maintenance of the clinical data dashboards.
  • Compile, monitor and report data related to QI, operations and program evaluation.
  • Work with Altibbi’s business intelligence team to enhance monitoring and detection tools, and provide feedback to implement quality improvement tools within Altibbi

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in health related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently and organize time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, ability to work with others, and sound professional judgement.

Desirable skills:

  • Specialized qualification in public health or epidemiology
  • Previous experience as a quality coordinator, risk management
  • CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)
