  • Develop strategic objectives and KPIs for the HR Department and ensure that the department employees are working towards the achievement of these objectives.
  • Ensure the manpower plan for all departments are in line with companies overall corporate strategy.
  • Review the operating results of the HR Department and follow-up to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct insufficient results.
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of the HR Department policies and procedures in order to achieve the Division's objectives.
  • Liaise with all departments to effectively respond to any internal queries in order to ensure smooth processing of all HR transactions, and to provide value added contribution to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company.
  • Manage the personnel administration process with respect to the following activities: (Personnel Files, Retirement, Resignation, Termination, Grievance Handling, Conflict of Interest, Disciplinary Action, Time & Attendance, End of service benefits (EOSB), Leaves, Overtime, Relocation (transfer), other employee administrative issues).
  • Manage the development and maintenance of an employee database that contains all employee information related to promotions, sick days taken, vacation days accrued etc.
  • Manage and monitor the attendance system in coordination with the Administration department to ensure compliance with Division's working hour’s policy.
  • Serve as a link between management and Division's employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering employment contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Ascertain that employees’ status changes are updated monthly (Salaries/ Benefits increments, deductions, invoices…) into the payroll system.
  • Coordinate with Administration regarding all employees’’ government relations activities related to issuing, renewing & transferring residencies of employees, visit visas to Kuwait, and governmental approvals for work & stay in Kuwait.
  • Manage the HR Manpower Planning process as well as, review, discuss and manage the consolidation of departments’ manpower plans and budgets.
  • Manage the recruitment activities for Division including sourcing, screening, interviewing, testing, selection, job offers, employment contracts, new employee orientation and probationary period.
  • Interview job applicants, review applications/ CVs, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations based on the applicant qualifications in corporation with Division's Services.
  • Manage the preparation of employment offers and contracts after completion of the selection procedures.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Division's objectives.
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
  • Manage the training & development activities for including the conducting of training needs analysis, developing training plan, delivering and evaluating training.
  • Identifying internal and external technical training programs required for employees.
  • Prepare an annual training calendar to meet the training needs of employees.
  • Develop performance management system that is in line with Division's and linked to the bonus and promotions scheme in order to reflect rewards based on excellence and merit for employees.
  • Initiate and guide the annual performance appraisal process and ensure that the department managers are provided with the required forms and methodology for performance appraisals and provide reports on results of appraisals to top management.
  • Develop the compensation & benefits structure (basic salary, housing allowance, air ticket allowance, and business travel allowance, education allowance, acting up allowance, shift allowance, medical benefits, and overtime) in line with the division’s policies and government regulations.
  • Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Conduct annual employee performance appraisals of department.
  • Identify the training needs of all Departments to ensure all relevant experience and knowledge is transferred to employees to ensure a highly skilled and high performance workforce.

المهارات

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Master’s degree in HR, Management or MBA would be an advantage.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Human Resources Management Professional (HRMP) or Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience in the same or related field.
  • Proficient in Arabic and English.
