Roles & Responsibilities:
• Responsible, through a combination of production/ project engineering drawings, for technical oversight, as well as the effective and efficient installation of wood product and manufacturing
• Managing the preparation, review and approval of feasibility studies, engineering design, estimation/costing and technical contract terms & conditions.
• Responsible for coordinating the clerical and administrative aspects of each engineering project in order to ensure smooth execution.
• Arranging the production of high-quality documentation (shop drawings and specifications, performance specifications and user guides) to accompany equipment produced by the company, and which is appropriate to the intended users.
• Developing technical knowledge / capability within the team
• Identifying, providing and facilitating solutions to engineering and design problems
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
• Assist with the preparation of risk assessments.
• Report HSE problems in his department.
• Ensure effective functioning of all activities in compliance with IMS Procedures
• Implementing QHSE policy and achieving QHSE objectives related to Engineering
Department.

المهارات
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor of Engineering with min 5 to 8 years of experience in engineering design and design software handling.
• Ability to manage a production company and extensive knowledge on design / engineering process
• Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises
• Good in Planning and Organizing Skills.
• Excellent organizational, People Management and time management skills.
• Knowledge of different methods of measurement and cost analysis.
• Excellent computer skills, able to work with standard software programs i.e. Excel, Word, MS Project, AutoCAD, estimating specific software etc
Key Purpose:
To direct, review, costing, engineering drawings and changes.
Reporting to:
• Reports to the General Manager
Authority & Accountabilities:
• To authorize to approve all engineering drawings related to new project /product developments.
• Prepare and review all shop drawings & as built drawings and material approval reports.
• Accountable for any major engineering drawing failures/ non-conformity.
• Cost management for BOO unit prices.
