Building the distributor’s competencies and efficiency in all business areas:
1.Key Account Management.
2.Modern Trade Channel.
3.Traditional Trade Channel.
4.Wholesale Trade Channel.
5.Trade Marketing.
- 6.Logistic Service (Cooperating with Supply Chain Department).
· Management of respective trade channel using the Distributor sales and merchandising team.
· Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of Distributor sales within the standard operating process
· Key account management including budget control and execution of promotional plans
· Implement the aligned trade marketing plan for trade promotions, visibility, distribution, trade spend effectiveness and NPD guidelines.
· Ensure the growth of distribution levels as per agreed KPIs for existing brands and for achieving distribution levels within the agreed time frame for NPDs.
· Recommend improvements and implement new processes and programs where necessary
· Set and manage team to deliver annual account sales, profit, forecast accuracy, on-shelf availability and trade investment targets. Maximise return on investment within account.
· Deliver the category vision into the account, including physical availability and best in class execution of our brands.
· Maintain and grow distribution
· Leadership and line management of the team to effectively deliver the strategy, utilizing key business enablers e.g. performance management framework
· Build the necessary capability within the team, ensuring robust development and succession plans are in place.
· Cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Finance, Supply, Demand Planning
· Ability to lead continuous improvement
· Maintain and promote a team work environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
- Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
· Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
· Responsible for agreed sales / income targets and KPIs
- Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
- Setting activity and revenue targets for members of the sales team.
- Continual training and development of all members of the sales department.
- Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.
