Responsibilities:
§ Managing collection .
§ Collecting cheques from corporate clients and depositing them to bank on timely basis.
§ Keeping the Academic Manager and Trainers up-to-date about non-paying students so as to ensure no student attends the class without paying.
§ Ensuring all operating and capital expenses incurred are properly recorded.
§ Maintaining the Petty Cash amount to meet day to day small expenses.
§ Preparing Monthly Payroll of Academic and Administrative staff of Male and Female campuses, and also maintaining their employment and vacation records.
§ Preparing journal vouchers and posting the journal entries in accounting software.
§ Performing Monthly Bank, Receivable and Payable reconciliations.
§ Performing the monthly financial closing process and ensuring the completion within first week of next month.
§ Preparing Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Financial Statements and Ratios in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for the Board and Senior Managers.
§ Maintaining Fixed Assets Register and calculating depreciation annually.
§ Preparing Annual Budgets and periodic Forecasts, and compare these with the actual results during the year to analyse variances.
§ Attending Executive and Board meetings to present all the financial and non-financial information.
