To assist in timely submission of all documents as required by local regulatory bodies and as per terms and conditions of purchase as well as required by the carrying and forwarding agents.
Collect all documents from respective business units and handover to the Coordinator – Documentation.
Collect documents from Assistant Manager – Documentation/ Coordinator – Import Documentation for submission to different parties. The parties include (but not limited to): Airport Authority, Port Authority, Customs, Health Ministry.
Develop and maintain close working relationship with different nodal agencies (customs, port authorities, ministries) in line with high standards of integrity and honesty.
Ensure regular presence at the designated authority (referred above as party) office and follow up for obtaining necessary clearances.
Coordinate with Warehouse & Logistics for completion of all regulatory clearances (as well as relevant documentation).
Keep abreast of all changes to existing procedures/ laws of importing goods for food business and make necessary changes at the Food Sector end.
Assist In-charge with Procurement in documenting the guidelines on; Quality testing of goods at the supplier’s end by independent quality auditors in association with Quality Control/ Assurance.
Assist with selection of suppliers, carrying and forwarding agents, financial institutions.
