Operational / Functional
- Consistently deliver business solutions which contribute to business results and improved competitiveness (consulting advice, business options)
- Deliver quality solutions/ service cost effectively on time and within risk parameters

- Control machines and processes and provide guidance and advice to other miners
- Provide input, advice and recommendations to management and engineering colleagues to resolve problems and optimize mining operations
- Analyze and interpret information (in consultation with Technician/Engineer) and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Oversee specific mining process and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess evidence of operating problems
- Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events
- Inspect and oversee inspection of equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Advice on and move control settings to start, stop or make necessary adjustments on machinery and equipment units affecting to optimize quality/productivity
- Oversee transportation and storage of flammable and other potentially dangerous products to ensure that safety guidelines are followed
- Monitor recording instruments, control panel lights, gauges, dials or other indicators and listen for warning signals to verify conformity of operating conditions
- Record, review, and compile applicable records, test results, and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures, concentrations, and flows
- Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations following protocol
- Contribute ensuring compliance to HSERQ requirements
- Perform standby duty
- Active member of (special) projects teams

- 10 Years Mining experience (6 Years practical experience in specific field)
