Project Coordinator
A non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering youth active participation through economic empowerment and social engagement. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the organization’s projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders involved in Ready for Tomorrow program.
Ready for Tomorrow is a program funded by the Danish Arab Partnership Program under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The main outputs:
Output 1. Young people, in particular young women, have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to plan and pursue their career paths as well as to engage with governance processes and duty bearers Target group: aged 15 and above, at least 50% women.
Output 2. Young people, in particular women, have market-responsive technical skills, knowledge of finding employment, and greater access to the labour market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning, coordinating and managing multiple projects from conception to completion
• Identifying and managing project risks
• Coordinating project activities and resources, including staff, volunteers, and external partners
• Communicating project status and progress to stakeholders
• Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards
• Identifying and implementing project management best practices
• Providing support to management and other staff on project-related matters
• Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
Skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project coordination
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
• Experience in coordinating and managing projects in an international development or humanitarian context
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with project management software, such as MS Project or Asana
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
