Overview of the role

Responsible for managing all aspects of the Cairo Festival City Mall brand, communications, and PR. The role includes marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for the mall property throughout the year. Takes steps to measure, enhance and enrich the mall customer experience through various goals and objectives.

What you will do

  • Manages the relationship with all creative agencies and ensures briefs are in line with the brand manifesto.
  • Ensures brand guidelines are implemented on all touchpoints.
  • Oversees all content and imagery with the creative agencies.
  • Processes management for website completion and delivery together with the Digital team.
  • Manages relationships with media agencies.
  • Develops and maintains media and tourism strategy together with the Head of Marketing.
  • Develops and maintains retailer engagement strategy.
  • Leads all mall campaigns and promotions from concept to execution.
  • Sets campaign KPIs, ensuring results meet objectives and justify the budget allocation.
  • Manages relationship with the PR agency and ensures press office and activations are implemented keeping in mind predefined objectives.
  • Manages crisis communication process across different channels and in line with escalation processes.
  • Leads the development and implementation of a CSR strategy for the mall together with the PR agency.
  • Conducts research to identify customer insights, media best practices, spend analysis, and market trends together with partners and relevant media and PR agencies.
  • Works with Senior Marketing Manager on annual budgets related to the brand, communications, and PR while simultaneously managing monthly spending.

What equips you for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or any related field.
  • 7 – 10 years of solid experience in marketing in malls, agencies, or retail.
  • Marketing diploma and/or post-grad studies are an asset.
  • Exposure to events, festivals, agencies' management, and events management.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Applications is a must.
  • Exposure to ERP is an asset.
