- ·Study and interpret drawings to fabricate, position, align and fit parts of assembly – as specified
- Carry out fabrication of steel structure as per drawings provided
- Carry out fabrication of steel piping as per drawings provided
- Should have ability to work with MS and SS materials.
- Carry out fabrication of steels vessels and tanks etc
- Responsible for welding, fabrication and installation activities as assigned by supervisors at site
- Should be able to carry out necessary repairs, refurbishments and modifications of piping and structure works at plant
- Should be able to interpret the measurements and verify the specifications
- Work in new and development projects as required
- Check stocks of available material (related to his area of work) and advise supervisors for re-ordering etc
- Carry out erection works of piping, structure and equipment at various levels as required
- Carry out inspection of portable and hand machines / tools for use during the work
