• ·Study and interpret drawings to fabricate, position, align and fit parts of assembly – as specified
• Carry out fabrication of steel structure as per drawings provided
• Carry out fabrication of steel piping as per drawings provided
• Should have ability to work with MS and SS materials.
• Carry out fabrication of steels vessels and tanks etc
• Responsible for welding, fabrication and installation activities as assigned by supervisors at site
• Should be able to carry out necessary repairs, refurbishments and modifications of piping and structure works at plant
• Should be able to interpret the measurements and verify the specifications
• Work in new and development projects as required
• Check stocks of available material (related to his area of work) and advise supervisors for re-ordering etc
• Carry out erection works of piping, structure and equipment at various levels as required
• Carry out inspection of portable and hand machines / tools for use during the work
