Biomedical Engineer
A leading pharmaceutical based organization is seeking to hire a Biomedical Engineer to join its Engineering Process Unit under the biomedical component. The candidate will manage the biomedical development cycle and contribute to the improvement of certain quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Perform process development, validation, and qualifications for cellular production in good laboratory practice (GLP) environments.
- Perform cellular, micro- and molecular biology procedures.
- Perform tissue culture and aseptic techniques for developing and processing clinical grade products in accordance to the SOPs.
- Maintain lab equipment and all related medical records necessary for vendor management.
- Verify samples received, transport time to appropriate environment within the facility for storage following SOPs.
- Report documentation practices and ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, Bio-Chemistry or any related field.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience (chemical engineering , process improvement, quality control).
- Knowledge in ISO certification or process engineering is an advantage.
- Very good command of English and Arabic.
- Very good time management and communication skills.
