§ Provide advisory in overall power generation related issues that include technical advice, marketing advice and customer related advice

§ New business development with strong emphasis on commercial responsibility for the PG division both regionally and internationally (Full P&L accountability)

§ Interact directly with current as well as prospective customers to understand their needs and customize solutions to meet them in consultation with the country Heads/ subsidiary companies and partners

§ Monitor the current company assets in PG, analyze age of assets and their fitment for current service requirements

§ Realign fleet age/quality/quantity to present market and customer requirements and right sizing fleets if required

§ Direct supervisory role in startup of new projects required and remote monitoring of once established

§ Provide Technical Support to Sales & Marketing Team

§ Provide expert perspective in all contracts and tender issues

§ Maintain FAR & AVR with 100% accuracy and accountability

§ Play a key role in new asset acquisitions, advise on technical requirements and prepare a SWOT analysis for prospects

§ Plan and implement the best practices in the industry related to the safety standards to be followed and ensure proper education and training for the same if required

§ Provide recommendations to the QHSE department on compliance related issues for PG assets

§ Co-ordinate the work of subordinate staff and work effectively with marketing managers and Country Heads to ensure effective completion of work and achievement of division objectives and targets

§ Monitor cost effectiveness of all PG operations following consultation with Division Head and other managers

§ Perform internal audit function for all PG operations to determine compliance with established international procedures and systems.

§ Take corrective action and make recommendations when complex issues are involved / encountered.

§ Assist in recruitment and development of all PG related staff (train staff) to ensure the function is staffed with individuals of the required caliber and adequate succession planning and provision for future demand exists

§ Staff development function for direct reports

§ Assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning prevention of personal injuries

§ Maintain a safe working environment

§ Adherence to all JTC and client specific QHSE policies

§ Adherence to all JTC ISO and Operating Procedures as defined
