Role Description:
Corporate Law Associate
A leading regional law firm is looking for a corporate law associate to join its dynamic and growing team. The associate’s responsibilities include:
- Draft, prepare, and research:
- Commercial and corporate agreements such as convertible instruments, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, employment agreements, and stock option plans.
- Legal due diligence memos on potential targets.
- Legal due diligence memos on potential funds.
- Corporate registrations in Delaware, the Cayman Islands, and other investor-friendly jurisdictions
- Manage and coordinate various corporate projects.
- Liaise and communicate with assigned clients.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to organize and structure their time independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum qualifications are:
- 3-5 years of corporate law experience
- Law degree from any university in any jurisdiction.
- Qualification in at least one (1) jurisdiction.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
- Proficient in all major office software applications (Microsoft Office and Google)
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Strong preference will be given to those with venture capital experience
Examination
All candidates must first pass an exam prior to being interviewed.
