الوصف الوظيفي

Responsible for establishing policies and procedures for the cost control department.

Establishing rules and methodologies according to the owner's requirements on cost

reporting.

Responsible for the compliance and implementation of Cost Control Department-related

policies and procedures.

Managing the cost control team, training them and employing more cost control staff as

required.

Discussing and agreeing on the budgets for the Projects with the budgeting department

and the Project managers.

Providing all necessary cost information requested to projects management to assist

them and to share with them managing the budgets and profits.

Reviewing and endorsing projects expenditures incurred in line with the approved

budgets.

Preparing and submitting the cost reports to the higher management on a monthly basis.

Presenting periodical internal Dashboard reports with discussion on Cost Report issues

and proposing the preventive and corrective actions. In addition, taking the directives

from the higher management presented in the dashboard.

Submitting consultation of the cost analysis at the Project’s completion date, explaining

the Cost Deviation Report and advising the concerned departments about the deviation

causes and how to avoid the re-occurrence of such deviation in the upcoming projects.

Supporting and providing historical actual cost data to the tendering department to get

benefits of the lessons learned

المهارات

Candidate must be proficient with cost management, industry-standard estimating, project

control software, and should be familiar with the scheduling process.

Excellent knowledge of construction projects Cost management software and MS Office

Software

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline

Minimum 15 years of Experience in Cost Control processes and management

Experience in Large Mixed Use Projects
