The opportunity
The Social Media Officer will report to the Senior Social Media Executive and under the Marketing Department at OpenSooq. He/she will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy.
Your role at OpenSooq includes
Implement our social media strategyManage and oversee social media contentStay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologiesUse social media marketing tools such as creator studioWork with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealingCollaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teamsCommunicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong networkProvide feedback and reporting on KPIs and progressCreate editorial calendars and syndication schedulesContinuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the informationCollaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions

We are looking for someone with
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fieldsA minimum of 2 years of experience managing social media accountsGood command of English and Arabic
