Data Architect defines technical, security and data architecture for the entity's data landscape, creating blueprints for the data management system by analyzing the potential data sourcesWork with the Section Head and the company's different departments to capture business requirements and define the data architecture at the conceptual and logical levelWork with the IT team to define the data tools required (e.g., MDM, Data Quality tool, etc.), and overlooks their implementation with relevant vendorsBuild the right architecture to support the defined enterprise data model (EDM)Design and work on building the integration mechanism and maintain internally and with external companyOwn the definition and implementation of the company data architecture roadmap to support the data roadmap of the entityAnalyze new data sources, recommending changes to the current architecture if necessaryMonitor the architecture's performance by running regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new featuresEnsure compliance with data architecture, standards, and guidelinesDefine and implement the platform's Data Architecture to support the strategic and operational plans of the platformDefine the guidelines in producing conceptual and logical data architecture design across the platformOversee and monitor data management activities across the platform
 
 RequirementsMinimum of
5 years of experience as a
data architect or proven experience in defining data modelsPreferred
degree in computer science, computer engineering, Information Systems, or a related fieldTechnical expertise regarding
data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniqueExperience in relational database management systems, DBMS software, including SQL Server, database and cloud computing design, architectures and data lakes, Hadoop technologies like Pig, Hive and MapReduceExperience in management of
 structured and unstructured dataProven experience in creating a
Big Data or analytics IT solutionKnowledge in
agile methodologies and Enterprise Resource Planning implementation
