As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Group is a leading TPA across the MEA region. We are looking for a professional HR Officer to handle payroll and HR responsibilities in our shared services department in Jordan. The role main responsibilities will be preparing the payroll, financial settlements, HR documentation, and HR administration work for several locations.

Your Job:

  • Help execute the payroll and ensuring that the employee’s salary will be processed in a lawful, timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare the payroll bank transfer in coordination with the authorized signatories in order to release the salary of the employees to their bank account on a timely manner.
  • Ensures the human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an updated HR System which contains all the basic information of the employees and ensure that all documentation related to the employees are electronically filed
  • Prepare and monitor the employees payments, deductions and final settlements in order to ensure that all payments and deductions are accurate and compliant with the approved policies.
  • Participate and help in the implementation of Human Resources projects and initiatives with the objective of elevating the shared services function to a credible partner of the business line and to add value.
  • Prepare and issue HR letters to banks, or for other purposes on a timely basis to assist the employees and meet their requirements
  • Completes monthly and year-end HR reports

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor Degree (Preferably in a HR Related Field)
  • Minimum experience of two (2) years in HR administrative/clerical work mainly in payroll, financial settlements and compensation.
  • Good knowledge of the labor law, the Social Security law and the Tax Law for Jordan market is a must.
  • Good knowledge of the labor law, the Social Security law and the Tax Law for Kurdistan & Egypt market is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a must
  • HR background in the GCC countries is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Team playing capabilities and can-do attitude.
