We are seeking experienced software engineers to join us in Amman as React Native Mobile Application Engineers. The developer will be a part of a big company, dynamic environment, where everyone’s opinions and efforts are valued. We encourage giving the resources the opportunity to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere to push for learning, growing, and hard working to achieve a better project target. In addition, we expect the developer to be familiar with establishing alongside the UI/UX team, reusable UI components and consistent UX patterns.
As a mobile engineer your role will focus on developing the user stories, testing the developed features on multiple platform and different screen size for multiple language, collaborating with teammates and publishing the app for internal and public releases. In addition, the developer needs the have the corresponding skills to review peers pull requests and make sure best practices and coding standards are applied and respected.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Author interface artifacts in conjunction with Front-end Engineers and Data Engineers
- Use mock services to unblock development and proceed with the UI implementation
- Establish and apply design patterns mobile applications
- Ensure code quality is excellent
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Coordinating between front-end and back-end teams to complete business components
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Review team pull requests and ensure quality code coverage
- Ensure proper integration with third parties and partner squads
- Optimisation of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Implement security and data protection
- Implement and enable monitoring and analytical tools
- Plan and release mobile applications to production
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Senior experience (At least 3 years) in JavaScript, Hybrid app development (React Native, React)
- At least 3 years of experience with Cross-platform mobile application development
- Understand React Native key concepts
- Experience with global state management
- Experience working with JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with third-party libraries and Cocoa Pods.
- Knowledge of XCode and Android Studio usage
- Experience in REST API implementation
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Working in an Agile environment
