Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.

Our client is looking to hire a Registrar Internal Medicine to expand their already existing team.
main tasks:
- Diagnose adult and pediatric patients with problems and recommend specialist if needed;
- Order the needed laboratory procedures for comprehensive diagnosis;
- Prescribe medications for patient illnesses;
- Conduct daily patient rounds in order to monitor progress;
- Formulate discharge plans for ready to discharge patients;
- Treat patients with minor illnesses on an outpatient basis;
- Follow-up with patients regarding their adherence to outpatient treatment;
- Conducted research about improving medication compliance in patients who follow up at the Hospital’s Outpatient Department;
- Assist consultants in diagnosing, treating and discharging their patients;
- Conduct patient rounds to monitor compliance to medication, progress and recovery.

You are an experienced Registrar within the field of internal medicine, with the well-being of your patients at heart. You can communicate in a professional manner with both colleagues and patients. Furthermore, you remain calm under pressure, and even then you do not lose your eye for details. Besides this, the entire process of diagnosing, interpreting laboratory results, and treating patients accordingly is well within your field of experience.
skills & competencies:
- Excellence in treating patients confined for a variety of internal medicine problems;
- Expertise in reading and interpreting laboratory results (ECG, 2D Echo, Doppler Studies, etc.) and utilizing them in patient treatment;
- Proficiency in Phlebotomy;
- Ability to work well and maintain composure even under pressure;
- Ability to work harmoniously with fellow physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other hospital personnel;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Close attention to details;
education & qualifications:
- MBBS Bachelor of Medicine AND Specialty Degree in Internal Medicine;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience (including 1 year after Master);
- Willing to relocate to Kuwait;
