Job Description and Qualifications

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC)

Air Products has entered into an agreement with ACWA Power and NEOM (all 3 have equal ownership) for the development of a $5bn green hydrogen-based ammonia production facility sited in NEOM. This is based on renewable energy principles and the project will integrate over four gigawatts of renewable solar, wind and storage power. It will produce green ammonia for export to global markets. The project is scheduled to be onstream in 2025.

REPORTS TO:

Financial Controller

LIAISE/COOPERATE WITH:

EPC, Banks & Shareholders, Auditors, Shared services providers, Company departments.

NATURE & SCOPE

The main functions of this position are:

  • Manage all day-to-day activities in finance department.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

  • Help prepare monthly closing and other reporting requirements including preparation of financial statements as per IFRS.
  • Help establish and maintain appropriate accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure compliance with various laws, regulations and guidelines applicable.
  • Assist in timely processing of EPC and other invoices, recording appropriately in the ERP system and updating the monthly cashflow report and forecast.
  • Provide support in lenders compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with other departments to resolve finance, budgeting and accounting queries and issues as per job capacity.
  • Carry out any other duties and assignments as directed and required for accounting and finance function.

المهارات

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION and/or QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in Finance or Accounting over 4 years.

DESIRED EDUCATION and/or QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • At least 4 years of work experience in the accounting field using ERP system (SAP/Oracle).
  • Good knowledge of Saudi accounting, taxation & banking regulation.

SKILLS / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to develop and manage strong working relationships across the company and with business partners as a team player.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge in maintaining accounts records and reports from the ERP, extracting necessary reports from the ERP system for carrying out analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Intermediate to professional level expertise in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Query and Data Models.
  • Excellent organizing ability & time management.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
  • Arabic is preferred.
