Analyst – Wholesale Banking Risk and Control

JOB PURPOSE
To implement risk and control management policies and framework across Whole Sale Banking Group in order to drive improved business delivery and performance
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Risk Management and Control Functions:
Conduct regular testing for all units against the predefined Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) framework, assess unit operational effectiveness and record, track and monitor observations in order to drive closure of outstanding risks
Conduct assurance and due diligence reviews and ‘challenge’ sessions for risk assessments to ensure the ongoing quality of the units’ risk posture
Provide input into management reports in order to keep internal stakeholder apprised of the status of operational risk
Business Continuity Planning(BCP):
Assist in the development, documentation and monitoring of the unit’s Business Continuity Planning (BCP) framework and assist business units to finalise functional recovery plans in order to support the unit’s business continuity objectives
Data Gathering and Analysis:
Coordinate the submission and consolidation of data from business units, ensure data accuracy and conduct analysis, identify variances in order to recommend remediable action
Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures:
Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders
Self-Management:
Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance
Customer Service:
Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
المهارات
Minimum Experience:
At least 2 years of banking experience, preferably in risk management
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of risk and control management tools and systems
Financial statement analysis
Analytical and logical reasoning
MS Office – Word, Excel and Power Point
