Human Resources Officer
We are looking to hire a Human Resources Officer to work at our company.
Role Description:
The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members. They also assist with payroll management, so employees receive their paychecks on time.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Develop training and development programs.
- Assist in performance management processes.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
- Collect payroll information including working days, ledgers and bank accounts.
- Help the accounting department with payroll.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Ensuring that all employees are organized and satisfied in their work environment.
- Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
- Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
- Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
- Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a relevant field
- Previous experience working in the HR field
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
