Quality Control Engineer “Automation “
Responsibilities
- Execute test cases/scripts/scenarios on schedule (Functional, Systems Integration, and Regression Testing), and open defects as needed.
- Use existing test automation frameworks.
- Review automation results, debug failures and create test reports.
- Participate in evaluate the functional and non-functional requirements for test-ability, and use. suitable cases for automation.
- knowledgeable about restful APIs testing
- Basic Understanding of HTML/ HTML5, CSS/ CSS3 and JavaScript technologies as pertaining to software testing.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Git or other similar systems.
- Basic Knowledge of QA methodologies, pair programming, continuous integration and test-driven development
- Working on SQL and database technology such as Sql, MySQL
- Execute test cases (automated) to verify acceptance and analyses results and work on manual testing occasionally
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Defect and issue identification, logging, tracking, reporting and timely verification of resolved items over JIRA.
- Ensure testing commitments are met and clearly communicate potential impacts to Senior QA Engineer Lead.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software design, management information systems engineering or any related field.
- 0-3 years’ experience
- Passion toward learning programming principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile development life cycle.
- Basic knowledge of database Querying using SQLs
- Familiarity of QC practices, standards and testing processes.
- Preferably have an experience in JMeter performance testing tool
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
