Our client is a Retail Company in UAE. They are now looking for a OTT Planning & Development Engineer to join them.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Working in tandem with our operations team on daily operational customer facing tasks.
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
• Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the operation lifecycle.
• Employing problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
• Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel.
• Work on shift basis along with operations team
• Provide support to Etisalat Multi Cloud Customers
• Maintain Physical Servers & Hardware infrastructure
• Maintain Operating Systems(Solaris / Linux / Windows) for customer VMs
• Patch / upgrade Operating Systems for security compliance
• Provide Backup and Recovery service
• Maintain SAN Storage infrastructure including EMC and other vendor storage
• Provide day to day operation support for Cloud platforms including VMWARE and Openstack
• Maintain SLA and contract for Etisalat Engineering Cloud
• Operate and maintain Etisalat Private cloud, Telco Cloud, Azure and any public Cloud
• Migrate physical servers to Cloud

المهارات

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (Preferred) or Engineering.
• Experience working with different types of OS Administration (Windows and Linux)
• Experience with VMware technologies (vCloud, vCenter, ESXi, NSX)
• Experience with different backup domains (Networker, Data Domain, Commvault)
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure Administration.
• Knowledge with RedHat Openstack administration is a plus
• Knowledge of shell scripting.
• Extensive experience with system engineering and ticketing systems such as ITSM.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
• Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.

Qualifications:

• Graduate engineer in Electronics / Telecom / IT/ computer science
