This role would enable the holder to implement a new Health Information System, whilst also managing the IT departments with a minimum of 5 direct reportees.

Description
Approves, co-ordinates and controls all projects related to selection, acquisition, development and installation of major Health Information Systems.Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information technology systemsDevelops and monitors the approved annual operating and capital budgets for the information and technology systems.Evaluates alternatives and performs proper cost benefit analysis to recommend appropriate solutionsOversees the back office computer operations of the management information system, including local area networks and wide-area networksEnsures the security of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.Oversees and evaluates system security and back-up proceduresInteracts with company managers on internal and external operations that are impacted by the capture, storage, processing and dissemination of informationEstablishes company infrastructure to support and guide individual divisions/departments/sites in computing and information technology efforts.Recommends changes to software applications based on analysis relating to their impact on all users' requirementsCommunicates IT plans, policies, and technology trends throughout the organization, including management groups and professional staff
Profile
Computer Science / Engineering degree6+ years of related experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership positionExperience working within Healthcare / Medical organisation highly advantageousFluent in Both Arabic and EnglishEffective Management and Leadership SkillsExcellent Project Management SkillsPlanning & Organizing SkillsStrong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills
