Duties & Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Ensure company established IMS policy, procedures and guidelines implementation.
- Ensure the compliance of statutory regulation/customer requirements and company IMS system
- Assist in developing HSE program in comply with company Policies & Procedures as well as customer requirements and support in establishing the HSE KPI, targets & goals to ensure objectives are met.
- Safety statistics data shall be regularly track, record and maintain and make available HSE performance to department Head.
- Conduct pre-operational (proactive) risk assessments on new projects/ sites / tasks and design or propose the control measures to eliminate the hazard or mitigate the risk as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).
- Ensure regular Emergency Response exercises & drills are conducted to ensure highest level of preparedness in any emergency and records are maintain to review and enhance the procedures improvement.
- Supervises the regular inspection of Fire Fighting & Emergency Response equipment.
- Assist in developing & implementing field location emergency response procedure & evacuation plan.
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinates
- Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
- Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
- Recommends changes in methods and procedures related to safety inspections or the citation review process.
- Evaluates working conditions and recommends improvements in safety and health methods, practices, and procedures.
- Prepares and submits inspection activity reports.
- Serves as a field supervisor responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and participating in Safety Inspections.
- Reviews accident, injury, and illness reports to detect problem areas related to employee safety.
- Gathers evidence and prepares reports on violations, complaints, accidents and fatalities.
- To assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise, concerning the prevention of personal injuries.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Implement and maintain safety and health standards in addition to safety program compliance with local regulations and Company policy.
- Responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety audits and investigations, and providing training on safety topics.
- Practice safe working techniques and training employees, contractor team, tenants, etc.
- Set up and supervise temporary work areas.
- Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed.
- Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and refer them to the proper authorities.
- Identify hazardous waste and disposing of it correctly.
- oversees substances’ installation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensure that all employees follow safety protocols and that any unsafe acts or processes are stopped.
- Maintaining clean and legible health and safety signs and notice boards in their assigned area.
- Ensuring that employees and visitors are safe while they work at the company.
- report any employee health problems that you become aware of to the Departmental Manager.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and site and issue reports for any observation, accident, etc.
الوصف الوظيفي
المهارات
- High school, Diploma certification in Industrial Safety
- Exposure to ISO preferred, Knowledge of occupation hazards, and safety precautions, and ability to train the subordinates, prioritize & organize the relevant tasks
- English (Read, Speak & Write); Arabic added value
- Must have transferable residency (Article 18)
- Must have valid Kuwaiti Driving License
- Experience in Facility management and building construction will be preferred.
