During your tenure as a Senior Consultant in Analytics, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Delivery: To contribute to the overall success of a client engagement and support senior team members by delivering work to a high quality within the appropriate timelines and adhering to the methodologies. Take responsibility for key deliverables on engagements.
- Team Working: To collaborate and work with other team members, coach junior people and sharing knowledge and experience. Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
- Client: To build an understanding of client business and markets. Shows a personal commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.
- Business Development: Carry out research to write White Papers/ Point of views or create proof of concepts for a tool that will support team in business development.
- Personal Development: To proactively identify opportunities to understand and build on known strengths and to address development areas.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Banking, Credit Risk Management, Financial Risk Management, IFRS 9, Stress Testing etc.
- Professional certification such as CFA, FRM preferred
- Prior experience of working with Big 4 (preferred)
- Working experience in model development and model validation.
- Strong statistical and quant modeling skills (Multiple Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Time Series regression, Segmentation, Extreme Value Theory, Artificial Intelligence Techniques, Machine Learning etc.)
- Strong professional analytical tool experience in SAS, R, SQL, Python or another statistical tool.
- Hands-on working experience in advance Excel and VBA
Qualifications:
- Post-graduate, 3-5 years of experience in a relevant professional discipline/ industry. Experience in big four companies is a plus
- An undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Engineering, MBA or a relevant Masters degree is a plus
- Good command of written and spoken English, Arabic is advantageous
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a strong emphasis on team working
- Ability to operate and understand excellent project and program management disciplines including production of project plans and key quality program deliverables
- Strong administrative and numeracy skills and ability to analyze complex data with good attention to details
- Excellent knowledge in MS office applications especially in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to handle multiple task and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment and flexible work hours
- Certifications in related methodologies including PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, BPR techniques and implementation methodologies beneficial
- Willingness to travel (required)
