Assistant Sales Manager – VRF and Applied Air Conditioning | OMASCO | Oman

ROLE PURPOSE:

To contribute towards achievement of set sales targets and build a robust carry forward business for the department through effective customer engagement vide targeting contractors, consultants, architects, engineers and end users.

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Generate enquiries and convert in to deals.
  • Designing and Estimation of DX , VRF and chilled water air conditioning projects with experience in selection of HVAC products
  • Conversant with HVAC design applications and heat load calculations, appropriate industry standards such as ASHRAE, AHRI, SMACNA, DW etc and relevant specifications
  • Grow revenue from each client and build a balanced portfolio of clients across industries and geographies to de-risk revenue growth
  • Identify and develop new markets and client opportunities
  • Track competitors and their strategies and build on the Company’s market share in each product
  • Deliver sales efficiencies by maximizing revenue per client, deal size, revenue
  • Follow up with proposals and ensure winning of the project
  • Prepare monthly reports and provide the department with forecast of equipments as per requirements of various manufacturers.
  • Provide sales forecast on monthly/ quarterly basis as per department requirements / product lines.
  • Analyse works carried out at site in liaison with PE / PS and raise invoicing keep an oversight on project cash flow.
  • Submit invoices to customers and follow up payments with contractors/ clients based on the schedule of payments agreed.
  • Develop key accounts generating revenue to the organisation and maintain healthy relationships with them
  • Follow up and control cash flows of each project to manage individual debtor turn around periods not exceeding 90 days as required for the department
  • Monitor and plan applied segment (forward delivery type) equipment requirements of each project to manage stock provision accruals within 60 days as required for the department

المهارات

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Mechanical engineering degree with specialisation in Air conditioning & Refrigeration (preferably). Diploma in Mech engg is also acceptable, provided the person has sufficient GCC experience in same sector. Proficiency in communication & computer literacy are prerequisites.

Graduate / Post Graduate in Sales & Marketing or similar field.

10 years of total experience with 5 years in a Managerial
