About the Position(s): AE7 Riyadh is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to work on international projects. Preferred candidates should have minimum 10+ years’ experience in projects of various sizes and scale.

About AE7: AE7 is a multi-disciplinary design firm with more than 300 creative professionals based in 11 offices across the globe. The firm works on a variety of projects, including: Master Planning, Destination Developments, Healthcare, Hospitality, Higher Education, Residential, Civic, Commercial, and Infrastructure.

Role Definition

Reporting to: Principal

Responsibilities:

Maintaining adequate communication links and interfaces between all project disciplines.
Oversee all aspects of multiple projects insuring on-time and under budget project completion.
Identification and management of project risks.
Attending project meetings, pre-construction, pre-fabrication, construction and other related meetings.
Reviewing contractor submittals.
Supervising and directing the inspection team for the assigned project(s).
Conducting audits / interviews / inspections of material suppliers to document their ability to produce the required quality of work.
Implementing building codes, construction specifications and drawings.
Making necessary suggestions and/or decisions of modifications and to conform to relative codes and standards.
Seal and sign construction documents as required
Researching and preparing construction documents complying with all local, state and federal code related requirements.
Provide assistance in business planning and the preparation of change order proposals estimates.
Ensure QA/QC Procedure with team leader and team members.
Prepare Employees Performance Report.

المهارات

Experience with internationally known QA/QC procedures. Will be also managing a team of junior engineers and draftsmen; and will be the sole point of contact for coordination with the Architects.
Experience on projects from Concept through Tender is a must, and will be required to assist with site engineers as needed during construction.

Qualities & skills required:

Essential:

Minimum 10+ years experience in Middle East projects
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
Experience using Revit software
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

Ability to use some of the following, ETABS ver. 15.2 & ver. 9.7.4, SAFE ver. 14 & ver. 12, PROKON, RCM, STAAD PRO, RAM CONCEPT, SAP 2000, PCA, ROBOT.
