About AE7: AE7 is a multi-disciplinary design firm with more than 300 creative professionals based in 11 offices across the globe. The firm works on a variety of projects, including: Master Planning, Destination Developments, Healthcare, Hospitality, Higher Education, Residential, Civic, Commercial, and Infrastructure.

About the Position: AE7 Riyadh is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to work on international projects. Preferred candidates will have experience / expertise in Master Planning, Destination Developments, Parks and other multidisciplinary projects of various sizes and scale

Role Definition

Reporting to: Principal

Responsibilities:

Lead landscape designs from concept design phase through construction documentation / specifications as well as construction oversight
Play a key role in client management by maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
Require knowledge and in depth experience with materials and finishes, levels and grading, furniture, lighting, planting, irrigation landscape specifications and local construction methods.
Able to manage / mentor junior staff
Possess strong working knowledge of standards and constructability.
Able to coordinate consultants and other disciplines
Demonstrates an understanding of the aesthetic and technical components of landscape architecture.

Qualities & skills required:

Essential:

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the field of Landscape Design Architecture
Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
Strong knowledge of Codes, ADA and Zoning requirements that can impact planning and design
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have excellent client facing, presentation, project management and organizational skills.
