Objectives:

Our client is a very well-known investment group operating in multiple sectors such as Tech, Oil and Gas and Digital Financial solutions. They are looking to recruit a Senior Accounting Manager to work out of their offices in Al Khobar – Saudi Arabia, to manage their accounting teams in KSA and Bahrain.

Responsibilities:

Prepare half yearly/ quarterly consolidation of Group companies in Bahrain and Saudi companies in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
Liaise with operation and other function ensuring correct recording of transactions.
Review accounts of the companies managed by Holding ensuring the accuracy of reliability of financial statements.
Manage accounting ERP and improvement initiatives.
Drive annual audit process of Group companies including appointment of auditors and timely closure.
Review contracts and agreement ensuring accurate payments.
Develop policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance of zakat, tax and VAT regulations.
Ensure timely filing of VAT/ WHT returns of the Group companies.
Liaise with auditors/ tax advisors on timely filing of zakat & tax returns.
Liaise with auditors on filing of FS on Qawaem in KSA, Bahrain and other jurisdictions.
Review major supplier/ advisory contracts and agreement and ensure compliances.
Evaluate accounting team for training and development needs.
Drive annual budget process to develop, revenue, opex and capex budgets for the Holding/ Group along with the operation and other functions.
Issue monthly reports on budget and variance analysis
Develop financial forecasts and cashflow projections.

المهارات

Requirements:

Professionally Qualified Accountant from international recognized body including CA/CMA
10+ years post qualification experience including 5 years at managerial position.
Strong knowledge of consolidation of financial statement
Solid technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS
Strong working experience with ERP systems and driving process improvements.
