Data Engineering (ETL) Specialist

A leading private company in the payments industry is looking for a full-time Data Engineering (ETL) Specialist to join its Business Intelligence Department.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing data from various systems.
• Working with Business Analysts and Data modelers to design and implement ETL specification details to meet Business requirements.
• Designing and developing packages for ETL using various ETL tools such as SSIS according to the best practices and standards.
• Designing, developing, and testing data pipelines.
• Enabling data for users and digital channels.
• Improving data quality through testing, tooling, and continuously evaluating performance.
• Ability to Extensively use of SQL and RDBMS systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• Performing other duties as directed by the Department Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Information Technology, or Computer Engineering-related field or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
• MSc degree in the related field is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field.
