We are looking to hire a Marketing Manager to join our team.
General Characteristics:
Manages and coordinates company's marketing function across sub-functions
Such as market research, brand/product management, trade management, and
Promotions to meet company’s business requirements. This is the top
Marketing position for a specific location but is governed by policies and
Frameworks established by the larger corporation.
Representative Activities
· Working within corporate strategies and policy frameworks, designs,
proposes and implements marketing strategies, guidelines and procedures
within broad principles and policies set by the organization to meet
marketing requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.
· Oversees market research and monitors competitor activity to identify
opportunities and trends within existing and new market segments and to
ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and
communicated.
· Oversees the development of marketing plans for company’s
products/brands, including pricing strategies, sales plans, and
implementation of product strategies.
· Develops and attains key performance indicators for implemented
marketing strategies.
· Oversees brand/product introductions, marketing/sales campaigns,
promotion activities, and advertising and assesses their success against the
plan.
· Ensures connection between marketing and sales functions and supervises
their joint work with distribution channels.
· Contributes to the development of new products and services and
coordinates with sales, engineering, and manufacturing functions on
design, product specifications and product enhancements/changes as
needed.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns (8-10) years.
· Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
· Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
