The Arena Kuwait is a 5,000+ capacity multi-purpose indoor venue that will stage all kinds of live entertainment and other event types. It has been designed to world-class standards and opened in March, 2022.

The arena, which is owned by the Tamdeen Group, is a vital facility and part of a major entertainment and leisure destination project and located alongside the Grand Hyatt Kuwait and the Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait; and connected to the 360 Mall, via the newly opened 360 Mall extension.

The booking and content manager should research, develop and deliver content for The Arena Kuwait as well as research potential talent bookings not only in conjunction with the wider Live Nation organization but also with local, national, regional and international event owners/promotors. They should be seeking out opportunities for venue utilization from local community, national, regional artists to international shows. They should have the vision to see and ultimately secure and help deliver shows of all types to The Arena Kuwait.

Detailed Job Description as follows:

  • To oversee all ticketing aspects related to the venue. This will include (but not be limited to)
  • Be the main point of contact for Ticketing within the venue team.
  • Manage all ticketing related functions including system development and staffing needs with our ticketing partner.
  • Build events on the ticketing platform and amend accordingly.
  • Build and maintain a ticketing strategy with the venue team and stakeholders.
  • Provide the venue team with expert assistance in maximizing spectator attendance and revenues at each event.
  • Ensure all ticketing manifests and event builds are fit for purpose and managed accordingly.
  • Provide ticketing support to the venue team when needed.
  • Provide co-ordination with all internal and external teams on all things ticketing.
  • Management of Box Office and any external sales booths with our ticketing partner.
  • Prepare and provide daily, weekly, monthly event ticketing reports as requested by the Senior Management and the venue team.
  • Monitor, measure and report on ticketing issues, opportunities and achievements with agreed formats and timescales.
  • To ensure that all communication, internal and external is undertaken in a timely, consistent and professional manner.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

  • Experience of building events on ticketing software

  • PC literate with and experienced of using applications such as word/excel.
  • Working knowledge of a ticketing system needed.
  • Flexibility that allows effective teamwork with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to analyse numbers, be pro-active and innovative
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
  • Desire to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking, fluid environment with ever-changing priorities.
