IT Vendor Management Manager
(Vendor Management / Channel Partner Management / Reseller Engagement )
Primary purpose of the role:
The IT Vendor Management Manager is responsible for building and managing relationships with those who supply IT products and services to the organization ensuring that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To manage the relationships between ITS and Vendor from the start of the contract through the sales process and after.
2. To provide analyses on vendors, oversee costs, and ensure the terms of contracts are followed by all parties.
3. To create sales partnerships with vendors which benefit both ITS and Vendors.
4. To coordinate vendors to develop efficient supply chain strategies.
5. To evaluate potential suppliers using developed and agreed criteria to support alignment and understanding of the expectations and requirements of engagement
6. To monitor and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
7. To manage outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organizational strategic direction, changes and challenges
8. To manage the interaction between vendors and internal program delivery leaders to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs
· To liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise contractual agreements as necessary.
Experience & Education
· A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Preferred MBA with Marketing as specialization and / or an industry certification)
· 5+ years of relevant experience (Marketing related work, preferably in IT industry).
