Investment Analyst – Associate
We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing Advisory practice in Amman Jordan. We are seeking a Investment Analyst – Associate to work with Advisory team to develop financial modelling and prepare financial analysis.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conduct financial research in support of project feasibility and due diligence requirements
- Develop, perform and maintain proprietary financial modelling and analysis on key projects and provide solution-oriented ideas to enhance project outcomes and process improvements
- Develop and prepare a variety of financial reports pertaining to project feasibility and performance
- Producing and analyzing financial models and assessing commercial data which underlie financial forecasts
- Performing independent valuations for businesses, tangible and intangible assets and financial instruments including equity and debt securities for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting and restructuring
- Building and maintaining client relationships before, during and after engagements
- Working closely with Partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities
- Analyzing target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks which may impact valuation, deal negotiation and execution
Experience and skills required
Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited university with a strong academic background. Licensed CMA or FMVA would be advantageous
Transaction experience in executing financial or commercial due diligence or any other M&A advisory services would be advantageous
Have advanced financial analysis, business acumen and problem solving skills
Have ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads
Have strong communication skills (verbal and written) and sound reporting skills in English
Have strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
