Duties
Job holder manages the logistics of housing assignments, advises the interagency housing board (IAHB) on regulatory and technical details of assigning housing, liaises with the Department of State Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) on housing matters and waivers, and chairs the Mission’s Make-Ready process to ensure housing preparations are carefully coordinated to coincide with the arrival and departure of Embassy employees. Job holder is responsible for proposing housing assignments to the Interagency Housing Board (IAHB). Job holder will act as a lead point of contact for customer requests and will spend a large amount of time responding to, following-up and appropriately handling such requests. Job holder will develop working relationships with relevant others including Facilities, the Regional Security Office (RSO), the Embassy Quality Control (QC) team, the Customer Service Center (CSC), landlords who lease to the U.S. Mission and contractors. Job holder will spend a significant time outside of the Embassy providing oversight and coordinating housing functions (inspecting residences, verifying work done, surveying prospective properties). Job holder may backup Housing Clerks, Housing Assistant or the Housing Supervisor as needed. Job holder is directly supervised by the Housing Supervisor.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of experience in real estate management, logistics, hospitality, administration is required.

COVID-19 Requirements for Eligible Family Members:
As required by Executive Order 14043, Eligible Family Members who will be employed on a Family Member Appointment (FMA) or a Temporary Appointment (TEMP) are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law. If selected for the position, the agency will provide you additional information regarding what information or documentation will be needed and how you can request a medical or religious accommodation.
Eligible Family Members who will be employed on a Personal Services Agreement and compensated under the USG pay plan will be required to attest to their vaccination status using the Vaccine Attestation Form. If you are not fully vaccinated or decline to provide this information, you will be required to demonstrate proof of a negative COVID-19 test completed within 72 hours of entry to a Mission facility and comply with enhanced COVID-19 mitigation protocols.
