Job Requirements:

  1. Manage the operations of the company’s Project Estimation/Execution and Control System (PECS) for medical equipment projects. The system deals with preparing technical and financial proposals, managing contracts, project management, planning projects, design, procurement project execution, and asset management.
  2. Serve as the in-house focal point for training all employees (Approximately 50 users) on the effective utilization and operations of the solution
  3. Ensure that PECS is being used effectively across all relevant departments of the company and work with staff thar are resisting change to bring them on board with the system
  4. Set-up new projects in PECS.
  5. Administer the Manufacturers Portal to ensure accuracy of data and avoidance of duplication
  6. Obtain from the company’s engineers and planners detailed description of new items to be added to the Master Items Database (Assemblies and Components) and report to the Database Administrator
  7. Assist the Database Administrator in managing the Master Items Database (Assemblies and Components) to ensure that all data is complete and accurate. Such data includes services, utilities, mounting requirements, installation and integration requirements, etc.
  8. Liaise with architects and draftsman to upload respective AutoCAD blocks and Revit Families to components and provide to the Database Administrator
  9. Liaise with the IT Software Engineer to support updates, trouble shoot issues, transfer data, and provide regular back-ups.
  10. Report to Software Support Engineer issues related to the Domain Provider to trouble shoot any problems and systems performance; using the Ticketing system.
  11. Foster collaboration among all users to maximize the utilization of the solution
  12. Input data regarding other projects, prices and tenders
  13. Provide access to users according to authorization levels
  14. Provide Hierarchy approvals in the system
  15. Enter notifications, roles and messages in the system
  16. Liaise with Procurement and logistical team regarding transfer of data from PECS to other systems
  17. Ensure that users are posting the required project management data and report to Supervisor non-compliance
  18. Report to Supervisor non-compliance of users in utilizing all of the menus and features in PECS
  19. Liaise with the project execution team on posting materials submittals, receiving, warehousing, products inspections, installation, testing and commissioning. Project hand-over and asset management.
  20. Issue reports and payment vouchers using the Project Management Module and the Contracts Management Module
  21. Liaise with the Finance Department about posting other charges and payables in PECS
  22. Liaise with Project Managers to enter schedules and Cost Provisions
  23. Support Procurement Team as permitted
  24. Work with the Estimation Team to support projects as permitted
  25. Perform other duties as assigned relative to projects planning, projects management, contracts management, and coordination.

المهارات

  1. Must be a software and systems enthusiast
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology fields.
  3. At least 5 years of solid experience in Projects Planning, medical equipment planning, design drawings, tendering and procurement, project execution, project management and asset management
  4. Previous experience in medical equipment and medical planning is preferred
  5. Experience in working with turn-key supply projects is required
  6. Very good communications skills
  7. Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all members of the organization
  8. Very good English speaking and writing skills. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
  9. Proven leadership skills in resolving problems and working in a team environment
  10. Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and extremely organized in daily work tasks
