QC (Experienced in Automation) – Jordan
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test automation scripts based on requirements, user stories and feedback from other team members using the automation guidelines.
- Align with the team to define which tests are suitable to automation.
- Hands-on approach to test automation.
- Responsible for conducting the automated testing, including analysis of the results.
- Actively participate in Agile Ceremonies – gather information about requirements and translate functional documentation into Test sets.
- Carry out testing as per the defined procedures.
- Test mobile and web applications.
- Evangelize and continuously improve the "Test First" mentality across our teams.
Skills
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related scientific discipline.
- Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in testing: Selenium, Java, JUnit/TestNG, RestAssured, JMeter.
- Hold a good API testing experience (using Postman/Swagger/SoapUI etc.).
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in identifying, design and execute test scenarios.
- Experience or interest in continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with project and test management tools like Azure DevOps.
- Experience with collaboration and version control tools such as Git.
- Can use SQL queries for backend validations.
- Experience or interest in performance testing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills of English.
