Role purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide Cyber Security expertise and contribute to the success of the Cyber Security Function achieving Vodafone Group Cyber Security Baseline mandated requirements defined by Vodafone CTSO including but not limited to implementing and operating new Security layers and creating new powerful monitoring function plus insuring that security standards and requirements are implemented by all technology functions. Will be responsible for delivering strategic technology security input to major cross domain programmes, planning controls to counter emerging threats and evolving technology and contributing to a blueprint of technical controls with corresponding roadmaps.Executes security testing and acceptance for the Vodafone assets and Onboarding on Security Platforms. Assisting in day to day Level 2 operations of Security Operations Centre.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
- Lead operational activities related security operations like managing Fortinet Firewall, WAF, Anti-DDOS Rules definition and implementation
- Administer the Identity Management and VPN Process
- PKI Certificates and Encryption Management.
- Anti-Malware, EDR and NDR administration.
- Develop and apply testing procedures and test documents, perform validations for solution, migration, software release, device feature, interoperability tests etc. for any new system deployed in Security domain.
- Responsible for KPIs analysis and systems evaluation after any major planned changes in the network or any other network element based the demand.
- Participate in an on-call Rota and flexible working hours (Night shifts as required)
- Guide and Mentor L1 Security Team
- Vendor management for SLA validation, hardware resource management including warranty renewal validation.
- End-to-end Incident management for SOC domain aligned with ITIL process,
Key performance indicators :
- Zero related incidents due to non-standard implementation of security protection and missing notification.
- Support customer operations to meet Customer TTs in SLA.
- Baseline Control Assurance.
- Vendor Management of Managed Service

Apply if you have:
- Hands on Expertise on Fortinet security Equipment Next Generation Firewall & WAF, Expert on Arcsight SIEM and Forti SOAR platform with strong grip on Mitre Attack framework.
- Rapid 7 and Tenable VM Platform, IVANTI Patch and Compliance Management Suite.
- Understanding on SS7, Diameter Signaling threat and reporting.
- IBM Identity Management.
- PKI and Encryption Expert.
- Antimalware, NDR and APT expert.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Bachelors in Telecom/Data/ IS/CS/Networking Engineering or in any relevant domain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing & managing security solutions.
- Certification like CCIE Security, NSE7, CCSP or CISSP.
